Shipping
Canada only
Crossing a border is how vials sit in customs and how a lot number on a label stops being easy to check.
Orders are accepted for approved destinations in Canada. An address we do not serve is declined at checkout, before payment.
When it leaves
Payment is confirmed when the Interac e-Transfer lands. Orders confirmed before 1:00 PM Mountain Time, Monday through Friday, go out the same business day. After 1:00 PM, on weekends, or on a Canadian statutory holiday, it goes out the next business day.
Same-day dispatch is a target, not a promise. Weather, carrier disruption, and a day with more paid orders than we can pack will push a parcel to the next business day. You get the tracking number when the label is created, not before.
How it travels
Parcels go Canada Post Xpresspost, tracked. Typical transit after dispatch is 1 to 3 business days. Yukon, Northwest Territories, and Nunavut usually take 5 to 10. Remote and community-mailbox addresses can run longer. Those are carrier estimates. We do not guarantee a calendar day.
PO boxes are fine. Xpresspost delivers to them.
A signature is not required unless you ask for one before the label is bought. Extra carrier fees for signature, if any, are quoted first.
The outer carton is plain. No compound name on the outside.
What it costs
Shipping is calculated after the address is entered, before you pay. You see the figure on the order. There is no surprise add-on after Interac.
The address is yours
You are responsible for a complete, current shipping address, including unit, buzzer, and postal code. If a parcel comes back because the address was wrong, refused, or left sitting until Canada Post returned it, we will write you. Reshipment is at cost. If we cannot reach you within 7 days of that notice, we refund the order minus the original shipping.
After it is in Canada Post’s hands
Open the tracking email. If a scan stalls for 10 business days, write hello@peptideconfidential.com with the order number and the tracking number. We will open a carrier investigation.
If tracking says delivered and the parcel is not there, check the mailroom, locker, reception, and whoever else takes parcels in the building. Then write us. We help with the carrier file. A “delivered” scan is not the same as a confirmed loss. A confirmed loss is replaced. See the guarantee.
What is in the box
Lyophilized powder is stable at ordinary shipping temperatures for the length of a domestic Xpresspost run. We do not ship these lots on ice. On arrival, store sealed vials per your lab’s protocol. Typical laboratory practice is refrigeration at 2–8 °C, or −20 °C for a longer hold.
Every parcel includes the lot identification that matches the public record for that vial.
Research use
These are laboratory reagents, lyophilized. Not for human or veterinary use. By ordering you confirm the destination is an approved Canadian address and the use is research.
