PEPTIDE CONFIDENTIAL — TERMS OF SALE (version 7)

For laboratory research use only. Not for human or veterinary use. Not a drug, food, or cosmetic.

  1. 1. What we sell. Every product on this site is a laboratory reagent supplied for in-vitro research use only. Nothing sold here is for human or veterinary use, and nothing on this site is an offer to supply anything for any other purpose.
  2. 2. Who may order. Orders are accepted only from buyers who affirm, at checkout, that they are acquiring the materials for laboratory research use only, that the materials are not for human or veterinary use, and that they are 21 years of age or older. That declaration is recorded with each order.
  3. 3. Prices and payment. Prices are stated in Canadian dollars, and every order is charged in Canadian dollars. Payment is by Interac e-Transfer to the account named at checkout, or in cryptocurrency or by credit or debit card through the payment page checkout sends you to. Interac e-Transfer is offered for orders shipped within Canada; an order shipped anywhere else is paid by card or in cryptocurrency. A card payment is taken by our payment processor, on its own page and in Canadian dollars; any exchange rate or fee your card issuer applies is the issuer's, not ours. An order remains awaiting payment until the payment is received and confirmed. An order paid in full with store credit is paid when it is placed.
  4. 4. Order totals. The total for an order is computed by our systems from the published price of each item and the shipping charge for the destination and the size of the order at the time the order is placed, and it is shown to you before you pay. Where shipping is not charged once the goods in an order reach a stated amount, that amount is published on our shipping page and is measured on the goods after any discount and before shipping. A later price change does not change an order already placed.
  5. 5. Shipping. We ship only to destinations we serve, and whether a destination is served is checked when the order is placed.
  6. 6. Orders shipped outside Canada. You are the importer of what you order. Before you order, you are responsible for confirming that the materials may lawfully be imported and received at your address; we cannot advise on the law of another country, and nothing on this site is a statement that a product may be imported anywhere. Duties, taxes, and customs or brokerage fees charged at the destination are yours to pay: they are not included in our prices or in the shipping charge, and we cannot tell you what they will be. Every parcel carries a customs declaration that states what it contains and its value; we declare both accurately and do not change a declaration on request. A parcel that customs authorities hold, seize, return or destroy, or that is refused at delivery, is not refunded and is not shipped again.
  7. 7. Lot records. Each released lot is published on this site with its certificate of analysis, and a withdrawn lot's record remains published. The record for a lot supplied with an order can be checked on this site at any time.
  8. 8. If we cannot fulfil an order, and reversals. If we cannot fulfil an order, we will tell you and return your payment; a card payment is returned to the card that paid, and any part paid with store credit is returned as store credit. A card payment that is reversed through your card issuer for an order supplied as described may be disputed with the records this site keeps, including the research-use declaration made with the order and the lot records supplied with it.
  9. 9. Governing law. These terms and every order are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the laws of Canada that apply there.
  10. 10. Questions. For any question about an order, write to hello@peptideconfidential.com and quote your order reference.
  11. 11. Store credit. We may add store credit for an email address, as a prize in our monthly draw or at our discretion; it cannot be bought. It has no cash value, cannot be transferred, and is never paid out as money. It is spent automatically at checkout, up to the full total of an order including shipping, when you are signed in with the email address it belongs to; it cannot be spent on an order placed without signing in. If an order that used store credit is cancelled, including when its payment is not received in time, the store credit goes back to your balance. If a paid order is refunded, the part paid with store credit is returned as store credit. Store credit does not expire, is held in Canadian dollars, and earns no entries in the monthly draw, whose entries count money paid.
  12. 12. Presale orders. A presale order is an order for one or more products whose next batch has not yet been released. It is placed on its own, apart from anything in your cart, at the presale price shown with each product, which is the same for every vial whatever the quantity; a discount code cannot be used on it, and shipping is charged once for the whole order, as on any other order. You pay for it in full when you order. It is dispatched in one parcel, only after the batch of every product in it has passed testing and each batch's certificate of analysis is published on this site. The expected dispatch dates shown with a presale are our estimate of when its batch will leave us, not a delivery date; an order holding several products is dispatched by the latest of their dates, and if we move that later, we will tell you by email. You may cancel a presale order for a full refund at any time before it is dispatched, by writing to hello@peptideconfidential.com and quoting your order reference. If the batch of any product in it does not pass testing, or we cancel that presale, we will tell you and refund your order in full. Refunds are made as clause 8 describes.
